State Officer Wins Brain Game on WRAL TV

SkillsUSA North Carolina State Officer, Connor Madewell, appeared on WRAL TV’s Brain Game this morning with two classmates from West Johnston High School. Madewell’s team competed against Grimsley High School and Cardinal Gibbons in WRAL’s high level, televised quiz bowl competition. The competition was tough, but Madewell’s team was able to out-smart and out-figure the other two teams to secure a place in the Brain Game playoffs. The playoffs will be held on WRAL beginning February 5th at 11:30 am. Be sure to tune in to support Connor Madewell and his team.
Madewell is a senior computer engineering technology student at West Johnston High School and has represented SkillsUSA North Carolina in the SkillsUSA National Quiz Bowl Competition prior to becoming a state officer.
