SkillsUSA  Membership Deadline - March  1

The SkillsUSA National Membership Deadline is March 1 each year.  Students must be submitted / joined into membership on the SkillsUSA.org membership site by March 1 to be eligible for national level competition.
If you miss the deadline for submitting a student who competes at the state level and wins, he/she will NOT be able to advance and compete at the national level.  This is the SkillsUSA (national level) policy.

A very stringent & challenging Exemption to the March 1 Deadline Policy can be found here.  NLSC Exemptions to the March 1 Deadline

* Because of the extremely short turnaround for NLSC Registration from the end of our State Conference this year, we will not wait on any exemptions to be processed and will move on to affording the opportunity to compete at NLSC to the next place finisher (unless you have your waiver processed AND approved by the SkillsUSA national office AND send us the "exemption granted" proof to us prior to state conference competition).  Please note that Exemption decisions are made solely at the national level by the SkillsUSA national office.
